Il Fungo di Lacco

We had an amazing stay at Il Fungo di Lacco! The apartment’s location is perfect, the room was very clean. Riccardo has been a great host, very welcoming and available! We highly recommend Il Fungo di Lacco to anyone visiting Ischia!

We had a lovely stay at Il Fungo B&B. It is in a great location next to a supermarket, many shops and restaurants, and ~5 min walk from multiple bus stops. The area comes alive at night with music and all the shops stayed open late, but it didn't impact the stay at all (removed just enough to not be noisy). Riccardo met us at check-in and was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. While the room is on the smaller side, it was just what we needed for our short stay in Ischia.

Be aware that the walls are thin and you can hear neighbors through the door. If you're a light sleeper, consider bringing earplugs.

The location is very central, the apartment is nice and all the equipments are provided.

Two floors of stairs to arrive to the apartment (no elevator), the building entrance was very dirty (but maybe because there were construction works going on), there was a storm and the water passed down the kitchen windows.

Great location in centre. Very clean. The room had a little balcony. Helpful managing agents. Great contact with owner.

The access to the property was via a staircase which was unlit at night and whilst we had an iPhone with a torch, it could have been an issue. There were no cups, glasses or teabags nor instant coffee (appreciate there was a coffee machine but there was no instructions) although the managing agents did help with this when contacted. Due to having a small balcony in this room, it would have been good to provide plates and cutlery so breakfast could have been enjoyed on the balcony as it could have been bought at the supermarket situated below the apartments.

The hosts were very helpful when our internet didn't work. Supermarket downstairs very useful. Plenty restaurants and pretty shops.

This is not a criticism of accommodation which we liked. Beware of getting a taxi to here from Casamicciola port - €30 for 2 people and 4 bags. Arrange price before journey.

It is located in a very nice street close to one of the most beautiful beaches and great cafes and restaurants. The owner of the place (Mr Riccardo) is a wonderful person; so kind and responsive. The room was very clean and had a very good air-conditioning system which is an essential element if you are traveling during the summer in Ischia.
