Fish Island Bungalows

A quite, green and wonderful place. The owner and his wife are super friendly. We had a real great time. The owner is funny, always happy and willing to help and speak about Cambodia. He made a free tour in tuk-tuk with us. We discovered many things, including his talent as singer :-) Legendary !

I have nth to say much. But this is the best homestay in town, as a khmer traveler I would like to rate this place for the best. Nice view near kompot river, also near the new seahorse of kompot we can see it throw here. They also have the sky bar for you to relax (he close the bar at that time but we can still buy the the drink and foods from out side and relax at there). Just 1-2km from town, and for the best point is that they have very friendly owner and I feel so comfortable and I feel like at home. I would like to recommend for you guys to stay there even for khmer or foreigners people. They also have a quite place to live and relax. Big rooms and very clean bathroom. You can not find the homestay in this price and this nice is Kompot.

Owners! Room was basic but good value for money

Nothing much of interest within walking distance

The bungalows are great and clean with a mosquito net for the bed. The true highlight of this place is Mr Leng who is an absolutely lovely guy with many stories to tell. If you stay here you must go with him on his free 2 hour tour around fish island where you will see the most beautiful sunset, salt fields ajd much much more. There are also bikes you can use for free and you are only a 20 minute walk to center of Kampot. Highly recommend spending a few nights here, you won’t regret it.

Mr. Leng and his family was the best. They were accommodating and always willing to help. During our stay for 3 days and 2 nights, we were grateful for the free tour around the fish island. They also recommended some good places to eat and activities to do while in Kampot. The location was perfect for me because its not to near and not too far in the city center, I enjoyed the serene mornings and calm evenings. From our room we could overlook the view of the river and the city across us. Wishing we could stay a little longer.
