Good location, large and comfy room that was clean, staff very friendly and we could check in early

Air conditioning was present but no remote and we found that if we wanted the remote we had to pay $15. There was a fan which helped but it still got quite hot in the room.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this hotel was truly shocking. We stayed until 3 PM instead of the usual 12 PM checkout time. This was our mistake, but we were not informed about the strict check-out policy by the manager. The real issue, however, occurred when the owner approached us and aggressively demanded an additional $3 for the late checkout. The owner’s wife then proceeded to threaten us with a machete, which was completely unnecessary and frightening. While we acknowledge it was partly our fault for staying late, the response was absolutely disproportionate and made us feel unsafe. This was an extremely distressing and unsettling experience, and we would not recommend staying here unless the management addresses these issues seriously.

It was a nice hotel with good value for money. The staff were very helpful.

For the price, it was really good. However, you have to pay extra for the air conditioning, but it was fine with just the fan. There was no room cleaning, but that wasn’t a problem for us.

Easy check in, very happy staff, clean rooms, all very good! I'm probably going to extend. The location is an easy 15 minutes walk into the centre.
