Friendz Guesthouse

Breakfast at Friendz Guesthouse in Knysna was fresh, well-prepared, and nicely presented with a good variety to start the day. The location is also very convenient—quiet and relaxed, but still close enough to Knysna’s main attractions, shops, and waterfront, making it easy to get around without hassle.

The floor was abit sticky even on the table but it was quickly fixed .

Quarto espaçoso, chuveiro bom, café da manhã gostoso, vista belíssima. Graice foi muito atenciosa!

A hospedagem fica numa colina (morro), um pouco distante do Waterfront, mas se vc estiver de carro tudo bem.

Happiness was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bij mooi weer is het een prima locatie aan de tuinroute. Leuke honden lieve katten. Wij voelden ons zeer welkom/thuis.

Het weer! Daar kan Friendz natuurlijk niets aan doen, maar het was wel een teleurstelling. Wij waren van plan in etappes van een paar dagen langs de tuinroute te rijden en onderweg parken te bezoeken en trails te lopen. Dat hadden wij lang geledenn ook gedaan. Helaas bleek het het slechtste weer in 30 jaar te zijn en was vanwege het water nagenoeg alles gesloten. Natuurlijk het ergste voor de mensen die er wonen en er erg veel hinder van ondervinden. Sanparks is echter erg slecht in informatievoorziening en sluit gewoon alles af :( In Knysna hebben wij maar een wandeling gemaakt om Leisure Island en verder een wandeling langs het strand, want dat kunnen ze niet afsluiten.

The room was very comfortable, with a great bed, good-quality towels, and soft bed linens that made our stay even more relaxing. Having a secure place to park the car inside the property was also very convenient. A special thank you to Ron, who kindly welcomed us even after the official check-in time. The breakfast and the lovely conversations with the host truly made our trip feel special. Communication throughout the stay was excellent, and we felt so comfortable there that we even decided to extend our stay by one more day.

The only downside during our stay was the shower setup, which is located inside the bathtub. It ended up splashing water onto the bathroom floor.

Our host Ron is an exceptional host in all respects. We could not have been happier by staying at his spacious and welcoming home. Ron made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay including daily sumptuous breakfasts which kept us satisfied for the entire day. We were provided with invaluable information on what Knysna and the surrounding area has to offer making for a fully satisfying experience during our stay. We plan to return someday and will book our stay at Friendz Guesthouse without thinking twice.

L'hôte était très aimable. La chambre propre le lit confortable. Le moment du petit déjeuner était très convivial. On se sentait presqu'a la maison.

La salle de bain est un peu petite mais ça a été. J'aurais aimé avoir accès au salon pour profiter de la vue mais je comprends que cela puisse déranger les autres personnes. Et nous sommes quand même chez l'hôte donc je comprends.

Everything was perfect about that place from our arrival, we enjoyed our stay and the breakfast as well. We definitely book the place when we decide to come to Knysna. Thank you to our host for the hospitality 🥰👌👌👌👌
