Kuhn Yo and Kuhn Daeng are great hosts and their friendly staff are hardworking and attentive. We swam, beachcombed, paddled, walked the beach, and went on little trips to the pier or Baan Koh Po. The rhythm of the tides changes the whole experience of the shoreline, and the surrounding forest is full of macaques.

The villas were lovely. Really comfortable with great view over the beach. The beach itself was great for a swim and there were lovely shade trees. The food was excellent as were the pina coladas! Special mention to the ladies who work there, we had such great service!

I love the location. It was beautiful and peaceful. The staff is so kind and helpful. If you wanted to escape from routine life, this will be an amazing option.

The location was great – the room being up high meant you got a lovely breeze. It was really good that there were two fans in the room, you could control air movement to make sleeping easy. There was no air-con which I liked cos it isn't necessary in a bedroom if you have enough silent fans. The breakfast was fine

The food for the evening meal could have been better, it was a little bit bland – there is such good food in Thailand that you notice when food doesn't hit the level you've got used to.

I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at Kohjum Resort. My expectations were not very high after traveling around Thailand in more touristy areas. This was absolutely perfect! It was like stepping back in time. Quiet beach with no one around. We would see maximum 6 people on the whole stretch of beach at one time. Most were the same people we saw every day. Simple, but well built and maintained room. Super comfy. I had more than one nap on the balcony in the hammock. The 2 story room felt like a tree house. It was amazing to wake up to the sound of the ocean, rustling of the leaves and to watch the monkeys play in the trees all from our balcony. Food was fantastic. Nothing fancy, just well done, home cooked meals. I appreciated that they didn't turn down the flavor to appeal to western palettes, as I found in more developed tourist areas. The beauty of the island is that there is not much to do or places to go which makes it easy to sit back relax and enjoy simple life. This is a very special place, with very kind people, one I can't wait to return to.

The staff and especially Taeng are amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Taeng helped us arrange transfers and rented us scooters that were in great shape. We really liked the restaurant Ban Ban and using scooters to ride to the North of the island. The view from our bungalow is great.

It was really hot while we were there (36C) and we couldn’t get any reprieve. We knew the rooms didn’t have AC when we booked but even with the fans it was like a sauna at night. The beach is just okay. We thought the swimming and beach would be a bit nicer. The water wasn’t very clear. The food was pretty average so we ate elsewhere.
