Kohjum Seafront Resort

Wir hatten einen teureren Bungalow mit AC direkt am Strand mit direkten Strand- und Meerblick. Der war ziemlich neu und gut ausgestattet.

Für diesen Preis hätten wir z.B. bessere Strandliegen, ein nicht defektes Mückennetz und eine abgetrennte Dusche erwartet. So steht das ganze Badezimmer unter Wasser.

It's going to be OK, guys. If you're stressed, stress not. The place is a dream. The ocean is warm. The breakfast is lovely and fresh. With a family, we were happy and relaxed and at ease. The lunch and dinner is great and if you get bored of that, there's other eateries on the beach at other resorts, though the menus are all the same. Beers are cheap. It was never too busy or busy at all. There were never more than 10 or so people on the beach. Most times it was only myself and my family in the water. There are tiny crabs and hermit crabs for the kids to go nuts over. There's a toilet near the reception for you to use if you need a second toilet. Showers were fine. It's all really really simple but perfectly simple. You want a massage? Get one on the beach. Want to hire a scooter? Just ask. Anything is possible. Teang organised everything I needed for me. I just had to ask. Tours/private transport to the airport...whatever we needed.

The ONLY thoughts I have on this is that, IF you have elderly people with you, there are a lot of steps involved in getting in and out of the place. Unless you get a private boat, then you're fine. I carried my daughter up those stairs a LOT. You'll want to take those stairs to explore and try other food if you're there for longer than a few days. We spent 10 days here and it was possibly the most relaxing and enjoyable time of our lives. It's not 5 star, you're not paying for 5 star, but the place rocks and staff are lovely. You're right on the beach. There is no rubbish or hawkers to be seen. It's wonderful.

Leuk hotel op een goede locatie. Heel vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Mooie kamer maar eenvoudig. Goede waterstraal uit de douche, ook al kreeg ik m niet echt warm. Mooi uitzicht. Goed bed. Grote koelkast. Ontbijt was inclusief.

Prijskwaliteit verhouding.

Location and vibe. We would return to this place because of nature and how peaceful it is. The beach is great, the bungalows are pretty but a bit overpriced. Helpful and kind staff.

Disappointed with food at the restaurant- was not great. Better options around. Bathroom is very basic and there is no place to put cosmetics

Traumhafte Lage der Hütten am bewaldeten Hang mit Aussicht auf Strand und Meer. Ideal um zu entspannen und Ruhe zu genießen. Personal sehr nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Im Preis ist ein Frühstücksbuffet enthalten, welches ausreichend ist.

Es war alles bestens.

Absolute Traumlage direkt am schönsten Strand der Insel. Robinson Cruso feeling. Gibt nicht mehr viele solcher Orte auf der Welt.
