Koh Mak Homestay

Nice and quiet, good scooters to rent, helpful staff short walk to a couple of restaurants but really need a scooter or push bike to get around

Everything was fine

The room is simple but clean, a bed is comfortable and a owner is nice. They rent scooters.

A bathroom is smaller one.

Great location. Fantastic place owners that will Make your stay incredible! Great room with smart storage and big fridge. The room is better, the bed is more comfortable and the general feeling of the room is better than the pictures!

The pictures don’t do the rooms justice - my room was so cosy. The bed was very soft and it was nicely decorated. It’s nearby a little convenience shop and a bicycle rental. The host was kind enough to drive me to the pier on my last day.

Not a criticism of the property which was perfect - but if you’re going to Koh Mak it’s difficult to get around if you can’t ride a motorbike or scooter. There’s a bicycle rental shop near the property though.

the hosts are super super lovely and friendly, they are available for you at any time, the welcome they give you is warm and you feel at ease, the room is super clean and spacious, comfortable bed and pillows, air conditioning works great and you even have a fan, but literally what made the difference for me and my boyfriend was the hosts. they are spectacular, amazing couple, we were very happy to have had the opportunity to meet them.

it's not a negative point, but you need a motorbike to get around the beaches/island. Also, the two best restaurants are just down the road from the hotel, and also the best bar, you can walk literally 2/3 min JUST.
