Well contained room with its own bathroom

It was my first time in Bairro Alto in 15 years. If you like to be in the middle of streets packed with 20 something, this is a place for you!

Die steile Treppe. Ich brauchte Hilfe mit dem Koffer. Nachts ziemlich laut.

Posizione centralissima in Barrio Alto e vicinissimo alla Baixa. Camera confortevole e bagno spazioso (lavandino un po' scomodo da usare).

L'unico modo di areare la stanza è tramite la finestra del bagno (no ventola a soffitto o aria condizionata) ma non sempre è comodo tenerla aperta dato il rumore notturno della zona, anche proveniente da altri appartamenti dell'isolato per turisti che di notte si sono messi a urlare dalle finestre. L'unica possibilita di lasciare i bagagli il giorno del check-out è quella di lasciarli incustoditi nel soggiorno, quindi non proprio un'ottima possibilita; fortunatamente c'è un negozio che offre il servizio a due passi (Luggage Storage - Camões, aperto 9-19) ottimo per gentilezza e prezzo.

Original typical classic Lisbon town house in ideal location near Chiado. 3rd floor but apartment although small had its own bathroom with good shower

Bathroom ceiling showed signs of damp but it was clean and warm with heater

The common room was nice and clean, the host was very kind and available, the street is lively and animated.

We specifically chose this suite to have a private shower but there was a leak in the bathroom’s ceiling that caused mold everywhere on the walls and the shower’s curtain, the shower also doesn’t look like the picture at all, it wasn’t that clean. The bathroom’s window doesn’t close, and its facing the opposite building’s windows so the neighbors can easily peak through it.
