The Victoria

VERY friendly staff, and very welcoming. Excellent beer and nice food. The new owners (who have only been there one month) have clearly done loads. The new bed was very comfortable. The bathroom needed a little TLC but was clean and the shower was nice and hot.

The victoria is lovely - great bar with fabulous food and rrally comfortable accommodation in a beautoful location

The bathroom does have a damp smell, but everything works just fine and that doesnt impact the bedropm itself.

Fantastic, friendly, and welcoming to our dog. Food was lovely. Would highly recommend.

The food was outstanding, both off the evening menu and at breakfast. You will struggle to find better. Also, some lovely local beers available at the bar. Staff were superb... I only wish they were as considerate and helpful everywhere I stay! :-)

Nothing major but walls are a bit thin (could clearly hear next door room's conversation).

Loved the cheerful, helpfulness of staff and enjoyed the fact that it was an independent locals pub more than a tourist brewery one. Lovely spacious room, good shower .... actually all good!

The staff/owners, Peter and Jack were the ultimate hosts. very welcoming, helpful with directions to trails or just about the area, provided the best breakfasts every morning, great dinners in the evening and kindly accommodated our need for a timely early leaving day breakfast. our room was generous in size with a sunny window, a big bathroom, generous size shower super easy to use with great hot water & pressure. we loved the really small village feeling with walking paths right out the door. So many wonderful things about the Victoria and its people
