L’emplacement dans la belle ville de Modica est un plus, maison propre, literie très confortable, Giovanni est un hôte très agréable.

Es una casita (compartida) decorada con mucho mimo. Giovanni fue muy amable y nos dió muchas recomendaciones para descubrir Moddica!

A la casita se accede por un callejón muy estrecho (pero bien iluminado) y a la habitación por escaleras también estrechas y con el techo un poco bajo (no es problema si no eres muy alto). La zona de comedor y cocina es compartida con otra habitación y la terracita con otras casas (y el espacio no es suficiente para todos si quieres pasar tiempo fuera). La habitación es algo antigua (puerta, baño...) pero todo está muy bien cuidado.

This property was booked as a last minute break and we loved the property and the hosts. The property is a gem in the historic Basa area of Modica. The property has a communal sitting area and kitchen on the ground floor and upstairs are 2 ensuite bedrooms that can be booked as 1 property or as we did by the room. The cottage has the most beautiful small flower filled courtyard at the front and we spent lots of time sitting in this little area having a glass of wine and our morning coffee. We also ate dinner in the courtyard 1 evening. Our room was large spacious and comfortable with a little sitting area and a good size bathroom, The room overlooked the narrow alleys and the courtyard garden. There was plenty of storage in the room and the communal fridge downstairs also has separate areas labelled for each room. Dogs are welcome at this property. The kitchen has the basics that are needed to cook a meal. The property has Wi-Fi. Free parking is a 5 minute walk from the property as the property is in a narrow alley there is no direct car access. The property is a 3 minute walk from 2 supermarkets and other local shops and cafes. The property also comes with several other accommodation options that the host kindly showed us and would be a great place for a large family to stay. We are already planning to return to this fantastic property in the cooler months.

The only downside to this property that was not an issue for us is the narrow alleys and stairs. I would say this property is not accessible for disabled people or people with mobility issues.

The host is lovely and welcoming, with the house tucked away in a quiet side street, with a peaceful courtyard outside. The beds are comfortable with lovely aircon and natural light. 10 minute walk to the main town centre.

The head height going up to the room is quite small - but only a problem if you are very tall!

- The room was lovely and comfortable. - There was a spacious common area with a living room, sofa, kitchen, and dining table. - Staff contacted us in advance via Whatsapp to arrange the key handover, walked us to the apartment, and provided helpful information for our stay.
