BEWARE PLEASE FILTER AND READ EACH NEGATIVE REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING. THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ARE COMPLETELY CORRECT, so I do not need to add any more. I left straight after being shown around, I wish I had read the negative reviews! I requested a full or partial refund as we did not use any facilities or stay longer than 5 mins but the owner declined giving the same response that he does to each negative comment…… He claims that we are 1%ers who only book his property to find fault and have an ulterior motive. A strange comment and not sure what he is suggesting as we then had to search for somewhere else to stay!!!

Good breakfast and perfect location for visiting old Oamaru.

While some furniture fitted the decor it was unusable.

The bed was comfortable and clean with nice sheets. The shower was small but clean and good water pressure. Great location to local shops and brewery. Walking distance to see blue penguins which was a highlight. Roger the owner was really nice and helpful.

The property was very run down. The room was small and the decor was old. Curtains had holes in, the carpet looked dirty. It may have been walkable to town, but it certainly wasn't in the rain. I can't believe it scores over 8 in the ratings. Very disappointing.

Das Federation House ist wunderschön erhalten und mit viel Liebe gepflegt – eher ein lebendiges Museum als eine normale Unterkunft. Man spürt die Geschichte in jedem Raum..Für Liebhaber historischer Häuser dennoch ein sehr besonderes Erlebnis.

這是一間非常溫暖及擁有復古裝飾的住宿地，房子的裝潢擺設就像是電視劇90年代裡才會出現的擺設一樣，像是一間小型博物館，每個角落都可以發現小驚喜。屋主爺爺非常的和藹可親，我們就像是回到小時候的老家一樣放鬆。早餐是自助的，爺爺有提供烤吐司及麥片及各類茶.果汁.牛奶供取用。另外離看企鵝的園區非常近。我在這裡睡了一個非常好的覺☺️
