The breakfast, location and staff.

The decor, size of room and the fact the room should have been checked everyday, hospitality tray replenished etc and it wasn’t.

"The accommodation fell short of expectation but was adequate for our visit."

Great location on the front just a short step to the sea. Very good breakfast experience with breakfast host Brian. Brian does not run the accommodation, just the breakfast which was very good. Bedroom was comfortable.

The bathroom was cramped and had not been cleaned to a good standard with evidence of previous visitors toothpaste etc on the unmopped floor. Did not see the host at any time during our two day visit and the room key had been left on the side so we could let ourselves in.

"Our stay was excellent and I'm glad we chose the Hunters, I highly recommend this Guest House."

The location was central to Brodick, The breakfast was excellent and lovely views from the dining area.

Our shower was a bit temperamental sometimes to hot or to cold but we figured it out eventually. It could have been us or a water pressure issue.
