Casa Yami

The location was good for us because there was no traffic outside. Our host was very friendly and his wife took us to the railwaystation when We left.

We would have liked some fruits on the brekfast.

Room and bathroom was large and nice. The common area had a fridge, and a microwave, dishes, glasses and cutlery.

Bathroom had a lot of bugs falling overnight from skylight - had to wash.them.away before taking a shower.. Room was not cleaned during my 4 nights stay. Breakfast was very meagre - 1 croissant (the processed type that comes in a plastic package), 2 slices of bread (wrapped in a plastic bag - very processed), 4 readymade toasts, 2 small jam packages, 1 glass of juice and 1 capsule of coffee! Fortunately there was a supermarket nearby and could get freshly baked goods and other items. Common area was very hot and even tho there was an AC - it could not be used. Just 1 fan which did not help much. No control over the AC in the bedroom. Came on automatically at night at 10pm or later and switched off at around 7.30am. During the day it was very hot in the room even with the fan. The location is away from the city centre.... 15 mins if you walk fast and part of the area felt like it was rundown. Didnt feel very safe as a solo woman.

The apartment was in a quiet part of the city, the owner was nice, even prepared a breakfast for us.

The apartment was little bit out of city center, the walk there was nice but in the evening we were little bit afraid.

The host is a very nice person, always thinking about what will make you more comfortable at Casa Yami. Although the description refers to predefined hours for breakfast and checkout, I explained that I need to get out earlier from the room both on the checkout and on the first. The host was able to attend to my needs by leaving the breakfast prepared for me to eat it at anytime I wanted. So, a very nice place to spend some nights (I have spent two) with a very welcoming reception waiting for you. Also, Padova is a very nice city to visit and calmer where you can visit the city in one day and on another go see Venezia (fast and cheap train connection from Padova to Venezia Santa Luzia).
