"A warm and cosy room in a perfect location"

The room was cozy and comfortable, with little noise from outside, good facilities, and beds which made for an excellent night’s sleep. It really was everything we needed for one night away, with the patio at the back and rural views being the icing on the cake.

I was a little bit surprised on booking to be asked for a deposit by bank transfer (for the first time in around 15 years of using booking.com), but I note now that the need for this is stated in the “ Important information” section of the listing, and I had just failed to read it. The proprietor was quick to acknowledge payments on both occasions however, and everything worked fine.

Absolutely everything one could need was provided and cleanliness was perfect. Instructions were comprehensive and very easy to understand.
