Sintra Center Guest House Escape to Nature

Nice staff

Terrible room . My room have no window like a prison and there was a wooden stump like decoration but smells like fuel or some kind of industrial oil machine and the whole room smells like a factory, no windows to open and the door got no net that can prevent bugs and there was a lot of them since the nature all around. My bed sheets had fungus!!! So many spiders not that am scared of but still should not be in a room you paid for . The corners of the room and the hidden edges have all kind of bugs and i saw that thing with many legs two inches long and so many of them hiding in corners. The shower!! Broken handle took me couple minutes just to get the water temperature right . Nothing in the place not even a cooler no water not even to drink or make tea … To the management or whoever responsible this place has a big potential to be a very nice joyful place and this is how you do it ppl Get these rooms cleaned thoroughly Use products to prevent bugs and spiders from invading the room , get a net on the door for god sake it doesn’t cost much just an aluminum frame with a net and two light duty hinges thats all ppl at least someone can open the door enjoying the night breeze without any bug gets in . Get a tiny cooler in the room if not please just put a cooler outside with water do charge for it no problem im sure you gonna make money because no one wanna walk all this distance to the closet store that like half mile up the hill . Get some lights out get someone to stay at night for customers clean up the place around cut those messy weeds around the property. Get some light along the narrow road to the place or at least the first couple meters from the door . The whole place is dark it doesn’t cost much

I loved staying at this Guest House. It was truly an escape to nature. The staff was very friendly and the overall vibe was just peaceful. There's a beautiful garden with a little stream running through it. There's flowers and plants everywhere. The room itself was very nice as well, 10/10 recommend!

I knew this before, but underestimated the "climb" with my suitcase a bit, haha! From the train station of Sintra it's only 10 minutes of walking down (or you can take a tourist tuk tuk), but the road is small and at some places quite steap (and back to the train station/city centre is up...). Definitely a challenge with 35+ degrees, but it's 100% worth it!

Beautiful surroundings. Loved the swimming pool. Good walking distance from centre.

We can understand the lack of privacy some people may feel with a transparent door on the toilet. We spent a while redesigning it. The bed wasn’t that comfortable either but we found a way around it.

De nós terem trocado de quarto sem nós terem avisado, quartos com bastante humidade , e parque bastante pequeno , não tem passe para cidade.
