Casa Beleza do Sul

Fantastic room with homely and warm feel. Great ambience and facilities and also top location right near the river and restaurants. Can walk everywhere. Nice touches with milk, bread and jams provided. Good little kitchen area in the room. Lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. Great overall feeling and really nice host and staff.

Parking in the street can be tight and rare but in month of May generally no problems. Just 4 hour meter parking. Overall, the Casa and room were really good. Highly recommended.

The mosaic suite is beautiful. The attention to detail and quality of everything from the bedding, towels to the little basket for the pegs. It’s so pleasing and generous. The owner has provided all you need to make you want to stay there forever.

Having to leave

Charming guest house close to all the restaurants. Very clean comfortable room and the staff very helpful. Communication with the owner Paola was excellent- there was a national power outage across the country and Spain and I had no cash on me and was fearful as to how I was going to get around and eat etc.. but Paola was amazing and made sure I wasn’t stranded.

The Blue Suite apartment was great - central, tastefully decorated, and well-stocked up. There is a small kitchenette (including a coffee maker, fridge and hot plate, plus some basic ingredients). Breakfast was a nice touch. The host was communicative, accommodating, and attentive to our needs. Overall, very charming apartment and great customer service.

We were only able to stay for one out of the three nights we booked due to an unforeseen insect issue at the apartment. Paola and the staff at the property were understanding and helped us find an alternative accommodation while making arrangements to correct the problem. They clarified this had only happened once 10-15 years ago. Even though we left early, Paola followed up on what would have been our last day to let us know the issue had been resolved.

Perfect location and lovely terraza!

At this casa, I booked a small suite. It far exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely beautiful with vaulted wood ceilings and quality furniture and bedding. There was also a small kitchen with everything you could need. Paola met us upon arrival and was so kind and friendly. The location was right in the old town with a spectacular restaurant called Nikita right on the same street. We ate here two nights and it was the best food we had in Portugal. It was well worth spending the extra money for the "Blue Suite."

There was nothing I didn't like.

Heated towel rack, very comfortable bed with crispy fresh-smelling bedding, well-equipped kitchenette with a supply of coffee and teas, the terrace. The room was very clean.

The location was stunning and everything was within easy walking distance. The rooftop terrace was a great place to relax. Paola was a very helpful host.
