The generous host allowed us to check in very early 8n the day for no extra charge!

I found the staircase between the bedroom and bathroom a little daunting in the dark. I'm 70 with a bad knee and I get up several times in the night. My fault for not realizing it when I booked.

The room was beautifully designed and had all the facilities you need for a short break. The bed was super comfy, fluffy slippers for walking on tiled floors, lots of hot water. All very much appreciated as we had torrential rain for the 2 days we were there!! The speciality teas, coffee and fresh bread were very welcome. In an excellent location in the old town and near the ferry point. Great communication with the owner Paola. Would absolutely recommend.

Traffic noise - but that’s life!

Lovely duplex suite with all the facilities that we needed. It doesn't have a microwave but we didn't need one. The welcome of bread, honey, quince, butter and milk meant we didn't have to go shopping when we arrived. The coffee was continually replenished. Has bath & shower. Very comfy bed and well heated for colder days. Very quiet at night as the duplex is at the back looking over the old fish market no longer in use. Great location near ferry. Lovely restaurants nearby and centre of Tavira was two minutes walk.

We loved everything about it. The decor was amazing, the bed was really comfortable and the location couldn't have been better. We had breakfast on the rooftop terrace every morning which was a bonus. Paola couldn't have been more helpful and responded very quickly to any queries. We stayed 4 nights and it was a great base to explore Tavira and the surrounding areas. 😊

Caza Beleza provided delightful rustic charm and comfort in a great location on the river in the heart of Tavira. Paola was very helpful and we enjoyed the fresh bread, honey and coffee on arrival. The shared terrace provided a great spot for relaxation - when the sun was out - and ideal vantage point to watch the Algarve Bike Challenge going on below us while we were there. The ferry to Isla de Tavira is two minutes walk away and lots of good cafes, bars and restaurants in the town.

It's a narrow road outside to drop the bags off but the free public car park is five minutes down the road, which may be busier in the summer.

Authentic, cute, clean and central!

The property is located in a convenient part of town along a small street running parallel to the river. We were in what's called the 'Blue room' junior suite. The lounge and bedroom were good-sized but the kitchenette was rather cramped. The owner had provided bread, butter, jam, honey and one or two other things for our first morning's breakfast. The apartment was very clean and had been maintained to a good standard. Wifi was on a cable network so provided excellent download speeds, although connectivity was occasionally an issue. All the apartments have access to the terrace on the roof which was a wonderful space in order to take advantage of the glorious Tavira weather.

There were two negatives: the apartment was rather dark; we prefer light rooms. Noise could be an issue. Opposite the apartment is a cafe that opens at 7am and shuts early evening. Unfortunately, there are two dogs that are kept on the roof of the building that bark on-and-off throughout the day. And on one occasion, their barking woke us at 5am.
