You just cannot find a better property next to Balaton. Unbelievable view, cosy, comfortable accomodation and the closedess of the abbey, restaurant and transport are impossible to compete with.

It was a rare occasion when I liked everything.

Hot cold water messed up and bathroom no curtain (all gets wet)

Nice, flexible and helpful host. Car parking was arranged also for decent price. Amazing view to the lake from the yard. Locationwise can't get any better in Tihany.

The typical old rural Hungarian house was a great surprise for us. The back area where we could see the lake is beautiful and great place to relax and read.

I read at night and although there was a lamp next to the bed, it was to small and not good lighting for reading. We stayed in the attic number 2. It was clean though the "fuga", the joints between ceramic need to be bleached.

Great location, potentially wonderful accommodation if updated and maintained

Bedroom windows only partially covered and directly facing parking area, so virtually no privacy (had to hang bedsheet over primary window); bathroom is a complete disaster that desperately needs updating ("shower" is a leaky hose attached to sink faucet with shower handle that wouldn't stay on wall; no soap or shampoo provided); could hear every sound from the room above us; air conditioner not working; unresponsive staff; parking was like a Tetris game

Amazing place with nice view. Kind owner who was very accommodating to our requests.

I loved the location, nestled in the heart of the village. The apartments are in beautifully refurbished old cottages. The view from one of the cottages ( I guess No.5-6) is fantastic.

Parking was extra and, looking at the nightly rates, should be a service that is included.
