Ein schönes Anwesen, alles schön ausgestattet. Lage in den Rebbergen top. Ohne Regen wäre es auch draussen schön.

Komfort im unterirdischen Zimmer eher knapp (kein WLAN, kein TV, WC im Zimmer)

Beautiful room, great location in the vineyards. The rooms are located underground under the vegetable garden which is unique to my knowledge. We went at the end of spring. But, I suppose it helps when the temperatures rise in summer. There's a ceiling window for light, but a full dark screen can be automatically closed to make the room pitch dark. The restaurant of the hotel is also amazing, great food and nice wine pairing. The breakfast buffet is limited, but what is offered is of high quality.

Ventilation in the rooms is not great. It can feel a bit wet, mainly after taking a shower. The shower / toilet are not separated from the room. There is just a glass panel and a curtain. Which can be problematic in combination with the ventilation. However the accommodation also offers a separate toilet in the hallway, should you need one. The breakfast buffet is a bit limited in options, and things that other places offer in their standard breakfast such as good espresso/cappuccino, eggs,... where only available if you paid extra for them.

Breakfast had a very selection of food. The underground rooms is a rather unique experience.

Quiet peaceful location in a beautifully restored building

This was a 2 nights stay, for a tour of the Vipava valley. The property is a nicely restored old farm, with a restaurant. The 10 rooms are under the ground, beautifully decorated, with pretty much everything that's needed for a short stay. There is a wonderful restaurant in the facility (although it is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (exactly the days we were booked) we were lucky to be able to have a lunch. The owner is the chef, we understood and he also provides a nice breakfast. But...

... we missed a chair in the room. There was none. The common area, where all the rooms connect, could probably include some comfortable sits. There is a big table with chairs around, good for meetings or work, but not enough if you want relax a bit, if the weather is not collaborating. However if it is too agreeable, it may cause noise if the guests are not careful with the others.
