Villa Lena

Property was very clean and taken good care of. Enzo - the owner of the place was very warm and welcoming, helped out with practicalities before our arrival as well - picked us up from the train station and took us there at the day we checked out. Property has a shared kitchen area, so you can prepare some breakfast, snacks there. Bellano is a beautiful and not that crowded place to stay in and this is a great option for a stay. There is also a bus that can take you up to the property. Breath tax views when walking up to the property.

Keep in mind you will need to go up to the mountain to get to the property, some 15-20minutes. If you are willing to add some extra exercise to your visit, will work amazing. During the end of May, the humidity in a property can be disturbing. Also, it was quite cold, specially during the night (they have AC heating).

the owner is so friendly, he did even offer a ride from the train station to the villa for free, and even if was too early at 8.30am :)

to go and come back to the villa without a car you have to use stairs for 20 min :(. But the view is really amazing during the walk so it's not that much bad

The owner Enzo is very kind and collected us from the train station. The property is very clean and also provides free tea and coffee. Bellano is a beautiful town and much less busy than other nearby places around the lake. Also prices are more reasonable for meals/drinks out.

A nice older property that having a car is a distinct benefit as it’s located up and out of the city on a narrow curvy road. Also a nice live-in host that was very helpful when we could not find the location of the house. Be sure to call Enzo and ask him for the proper address before attempting to find the property. He wound up coming to find us and we followed him up the hill to the proper address.

Everything was perfect, the view, the room, the personel. I spend there 5 days and I would gladly come back in the future.

Great location, big old house with a wonderful host. We booked it very late in the day and Enzo accommodated us, allocating a space for the motorbike we are travelling on. Don’t expect luxuries, this is a basic location, a good experience. Our bed was comfortable, good shower, patio doors to the garden were we enjoyed a well deserved bottle of wine.

To ensure a smooth experience, clear directions to come back from town should be provided. Our phone was guiding to the wrong place, I guess the GPS wasn’t receiving due to the hills. We were lost for more than 2 hrs looking for the place in a dark night. A good clue if I took it in then is a church nearby 🙄

Location is on top of the hill so it's very hard to reach there by foot.
