Perfect location , next door to the Palace. Parking free & only a minute or so away. Warm welcome into a gorgeous, historic premise which has been tastefully refurbished. Clean, spacious. Fresh flowers, & biscuits. Breakfast superb. Presentation and choice excellent. Friendly hosts who tripped over themselves to help and give advice on our onward journey. Yes, it’s dear for just one night, but when considering the location, history & service provided, it’s so worth it!

Elaine and Charlie have created a sophisticated yet comfortable B&B, in a stunning heritage house secluded from the main street. The decor is stunning, the breakfasts are outstanding, the rooms are luxurious yet comfortable. They also ensure you enjoy the sitting room as well, with all the creature comforts one could ever need, including tv with access to streaming channels, although the WiFi is good enough to watch on your devices. They even made dinner reservations at The Red Lion pub: make sure you have the steak pie, it is fabulous.

Elaine was very friendly and accomodating. After checking in and prior to us leaving for a wedding, she brought through complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits, much appreciated. Attention to detail was superb, thank you!

Stay is a beautiful B&B with friendly, gracious hosts, Elaine and Charlie, who go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable and happy. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is amazing. Much of the ingredients are fresh from Elaine's garden and prepared that morning. For example, I enjoyed a different recipe for fruit compote in my yogurt every morning! It was delicious! Elaine and Charlie truly make you feel like family. When I got a cold the first day and had to rest in my room, they made me a care package of extra tea, coffee, snacks, and an orange. Stay B&B represents the best of what a B&B should be, and I highly recommend it.

Really beautiful B&B that we immediately fell in love with! Across the whole B&B, including the dining area/lounge and our room, the decor and attention to detail were delightful- making Stay feel cosy and special to spend time in, nestled in quaint, peaceful Culross. The bed was as comfy as we could have hoped and we were especially appreciative of the well-considered touches scattered around our room, such as the glass bottles of milk for our tea and coffee, the cute cube of soap and the fresh flowers. We even ordered our own Pink Spice candles as we had so loved the scent in our room! During a rainy evening, it was a bonus to be able to make use of the available board games and relax after a walk up to the castle. On both mornings, breakfast produce was fresh, plentiful and locally-sourced. You could definitely taste the homemade touches! And on our first evening, hosts helped to book us a table at the nearby Red Lion pub for a hearty evening meal- thank you for that! We would also like to thank Elaine again for the lift to Dunfermline station- a host going above and beyond! From our arrival to our goodbyes at the station, we couldn't have asked for a better welcome from both hosts.
