We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Matera, and this accommodation made it truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the owners welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness that immediately made us feel at home — their helpfulness and friendly attitude throughout our stay was something we deeply appreciated. The location itself is a dream, nestled in one of the most breathtaking and historically rich cities we have ever visited; walking through the ancient Sassi at golden hour felt like stepping back thousands of years in time. One practical highlight that made a real difference was the free parking provided — a rare and thoughtful gesture in such a historic centre where parking can otherwise be a real challenge. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and full of character, perfectly complementing the magical atmosphere of Matera. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and would return without hesitation. A truly special experience in a truly special city.
