Maison d'Ax

Staying in a cave room in the Sassi of Matera was a truly unique experience and one of the highlights of our trip. The room beautifully combined the charm of a traditional cave dwelling with modern comfort. It was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped, making the stay both authentic and comfortable. The atmosphere was unlike anything we had experienced before. The location was excellent, with stunning views of Matera right outside the door. Being able to step outside and admire the illuminated Sassi in the evening was simply magical. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was elegant, varied, and a great way to start the day. Overall, this was a memorable experience that allowed us to immerse ourselves in the history and character of Matera. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something special.

Ho apprezzato meno la colazione che potrebbe essere più ricca in una struttura di questo tipo

el lugar era hermoso, era estar en un cuento, muy linda experiencia única e inolvidable , el desayuno muy rico.

un poco incomodo llegar, se llega caminando y nos mandaron un video no muy explicativo. igual que entrar al cuarto parecía una búsqueda del tesoro , el lugar hermoso solo eso , no había comunicación

Great location to view the whole of Matera, however do not bring heavy suitcases as it’s mostly an uphill walk on cobblestones.

L'aspect authentique du logement

Location was spot on. Enjoyed the terrace with great view of the town. Got the authentic feeling of Matera, decor so classy and made our stay very enjoyable 🙂

Apartmán Hermann Hesse @ Milan Kundera byl nádherný. První desítky minut jsme ho prozkoumávali a užívali si nápadité detaily. Navíc jeho poloha naproti pahorku s kostely Madonna delle Virtù a San Nicola dei Greci je vynikající jak pro návštěvy historické čtvrti tak přírodního parku Murgia Materana.
