Quite late check in from 4pm and then told checkout was 9am despite the booking and signs at the property stating 11am. There is not much in the area, so you will definitely need a car.

Our host was really attentionate and helpfull. The light snack at breakfast was delicious. The guesthouse was very comfortable with modern utilities, maintaining all the traditional features. We could visit various historic monuments in the region. The Bonghwa market is memorable for all the foraging herbs for sale. We love to stay at the hanock!

Beautiful authentic house; we had excellent BBQ and later hotpot in the town. Lovely small breakfast: fruit and a dumpling. Wonderful family experience

A beautiful location. It´s a very old charming house in a small village. It´s like history came alive. The owners are super friendly and flexible. I have travelled a lot and this was one of the nicer places I´ve ever been.

Overall, the place was very charming. The hanok is in calm village near bigger city. We were greeted by the wonderful owner. The room is cosy, and there was everything we needed. The bathroom is added to the original part of hanok. We also got breakfast - two dumplings and apple. The parking is available near to the buildings. You leave your car in the open air without a fence.

The bathroom should have better ventilation. Translation could also be in English. You have to bear in mind that this is an original hanok, so there are no locks on the door. Also, be quiet as the walls are thin.
