Palazzo Fracastoro

This is a magnificent stay. The location is wonderful a short walk from the Arena and that magnificent square with all the resteraunt. The accommodation itself is a wonderful insight into life here and a mix of history. There is a wo derfully modern kitchenette and bathrooms but in an antique setting, soon locks are at least 140 years old and there is beautiful old furniture. There is so much h space especially after little hotel rooms. You could stay here for the library alone. The little balcony is a wonderful start to the day with a cup of tea. They provide about 10 varieties and an expresso machine. There is nothing not to like here and the host is just marvellous and friendly.

Slightly better instructions in accessing the facility but this is minor and we did arrive early so the hist was not there but came within 5 minutes.

Location excellent for all attractions in the centre of Verona. Pleasant sitting area, and useful and convenient kitchen area. Quiet, despite being on main road. Olimpia, the owner was very responsive with any questions or requests for assistance.

Room quite small, with very limited space for clothes apart from one hanging rail. Very narrow and limited verandah space for sitting outside. Impression given from photos is that accommodation was on ground floor facing into courtyard with space to sit out. However, all rooms are one flight above the courtyard, with no access to it. Shower small, no hanging space for wet towels or wet clothing when it rained.

Great location, only a short walk to the Amphitheatre. Our room was clean and comfortable and quiet. The kitchen facilities were really well equipped and the coffee machine was a godsend. The shared living area was quiet and relaxed with plenty of reading material and ideal for when we had thunderstorms. The keys are a little tricky so be patient, but security is really good all round. Olimpia was really helpful and recommended some great restaurants and a really good wine tasting afternoon in Valpolicella. Good communication with her and really friendly.

Very clear instructions for accessing the apartment. Beautiful apartment. Comfortable bed and good quality bed linen. Very nice kitchen with tea and coffee supplied. Thank you . Great location. Warm welcome from Olympia. Beautiful little balcony.

Our bedroom was located on a busy road and noise from buses and cars disturbed us in the mornings (not Sunday) but it was very quiet overnight. Some of the other rooms would be quieter as they overlook the back or gardens.

The apartment had everything we needed, the room and bathroom were beautifully appointed, the kitchen had everything you needed to make breakfast and the rest of the apartment had very high quality furniture and fittings. It was exceptional.

Great location inside the city wall of central Verona. All the main sites / areas within walking distance. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

Had everything we needed and exceeded my expectations.

It was convenient.

The room was very dark and privacy from other guests meant that I couldn’t keep the outer shutters open, as I was placed in the centre room. Not a lot of light got into the room during the day. Because it was raining while I was there I used the common lounge space to read a book but the cleaner was pottering around while I was trying to read. I asked for some paper towels for the kitchen and he gave me two packets of disposable tissues. Then he left the mop and bucket in the kitchen sink so I couldn’t make my lunch without moving it.

Amazing wisteria on the balcony - early April was the perfect time to visit this place. It was very clean, comfortable and big bed, and a very nice location close to everything.

The host was a bit impatient and seemed stressed, which removed some of the comfort from staying there. The room was a bit smaller than expected, which made it a bit crammed with our suitcases. I also did not understand (that's on me, of course) that the common areas were shared with another couple, which was fine, but unexpected.

Excellent location, beautiful apartment. So easy to check in and out. Exactly what we needed. Helpful staff
