Paulo is an excellent and attentive host and local historian. He provided us with interesting information about Portugal, Coruche and the hotel, which he created and renovated from two adjacent houses, dating from 1910. Our room, the dining area and the sitting rooms are impeccably decorated and furnished with antiques. We spent much of our time on the rooftop terrace, enjoying the sun and wine. The complimentary wine Paulo provided was greatly appreciated, as was the company of Mungo and Jeremy, the resident cats. The breakfast was also amazing: fresh fruit, coffee, eggs, cold cuts, cheese and muffins. Paulo also provided us with gluten-free bread and cakes. Marvelous stay. We extended our stay and will return soon to this lovely home.
