My room was dark, they have installed dim lights. I love a bright room especially in the bedroom but just because other people prefer the rooms dim/a bit dark, ‘so they say’. Nothing was done about it
ZAFantastic location, almost on the beach with lovely promenade and rock pool nearby! We were upstairs, so had a great view from our balcony. We could walk to some great restaurants and shops and felt safe doing so at night. Breakfast was really good, and the serving staff were really sweet! A Nespresso machine in the room was a real plus for me!
The aircon wouldn't work, unfortunately we only discovered that late at night. The entrance downlights were faulty and flashed through the night - not brightly, but enough to be annoying. The maintenance man sorted out the aircon right away the next morning, but not the lights (told me to press the non-moving part of the switch to fix the problem which needless to say did not work.) One bath plug got stuck, the other kept getting dislodged by the water flowing in. These are "niggles", but we didn't expect this from a high-end venue.
