Very good location with the street of restaurants close by. Wonderful manager who serves great breakfasts. Old city dwelling that makes you feel like you are living history.

We had an amazing stay. Our room was beautifully presented with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable and the room was cosy and very quiet at night. It was so unique with the natural cave walls, an experience we will never forget. The shower was great after a long day exploring the Sassi. Marco couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, giving us lots of tips for things to see and do and how to get around. The breakfast was delicious, what a treat! We would definitely stay here again.

The room with the (private) terrace was fabulous, with a fairy-tale view at night. Very comfortable, shabby-chic bedroom and bathroom - stylishly curated and furnished. Great, big comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. Marco is delightful and provides and very generous (and rich!) breakfast each morning. There are only three rooms at the property, each with their own table for breakfast.

We had a fantastic three night stay in the terrace room. The view at night is exceptional. Agree with other guests - this is a gem , great location and delicious abundant breakfast . Marco is a thoughtful and warm host , who is genuine. Would definitely return and recommend.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit toller Lage. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Er hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben und Reservierungen für das Abendessen gemacht. In der Nähe gab es ein Parkhaus.

The room was quirky but in a very lovely way. You could tell that everything had been hand picked to create such an original and unusual style. Every aspect had been considered for our stay and the room wanted for nothing. It was super clean, the towels & linen were of very high quality and the bed was very comfortable. Its’ location for exploring Matera was perfect and it was also easy to park our car nearby in a paid car park. Marco was the perfect host. We were contacted a few days before arriving with some suggestions for eating & drinking and on arrival we had a comprehensive explanation from Marco on how best to spend our time in Matera, which was extremely helpful. I have to say that the breakfasts Marco produced were probably the best we have received over many years of travelling in Europe, truly excellent, we could not fault our stay at Corte San Leonardo.
