BABA Guesthouse

We had a really nice stay at the Baba Guesthouse. The room and bathroom were very spacious. The bed was big and comfortable. We had a cosy terrace with a beautiful view on the Mekong River. The location is very good, close to a lot of restaurants. It is a bit more pricy then other stays, but definitely worth it!

Great view, right in the center but also very quiet! Working AC and spacious room with balcony. Very friendly owner.

The location of the room is particularly conveniently close to get the basic needs around, being centrally located yet avoiding the hustle and bustle. The basic furnishings and high quality management and very perfect cleanliness on such an isolated island gave us the best comfort on our trip here. The view from the balcony has a special sense of local significance and beauty.

Clean and spacious room in an excellent location. We even had a balcony with a river view. The staff is always very friendly, helpfu land a pleasure to talk to.

The room was very clean, had good AirCon plus a fan, both very useful. The location was perfect and it had a balcony that was overlooking the Mekong. The view was magnificent. The place was quiet and beautiful, cleaned daily if you want and also they give a large bottle of water daily. W e liked it so much e extended by several days. The balcony had a table and two chairs. We did not Sue it much as the heat back then was intense but very pleasant to sit there and have a drink.

Small hing: In our room the mattress was very hard, even for Asian standards. The owner knows that and I think sorting this out. I will definitely go back there. I loved the place!

Very spacious room, air con, fan, fridge and various other amenities included (e.g free soap & big bottle of water everyday), very good location & lovely staff. Would definitely recommend & stay here again if we ever came back :)

The mattress was a bit hard and there were lots of bugs (obviously can’t be helped but they did seem to get into the bathroom often which wasn’t ideal, but it wasn’t unmanageable)

Location is perfect, walking distance from the pier. Bicycle rent, grocery and restaurants are close, as well as tour agencies. Baba work towards sustainability by cleaning rooms and changing towels only on request, and instead of small water bottles they distribute big bottle which reduces the amount of plastic. The rooms, all shared areas and the garden are kept exceptionally clean. Our host has been really friendly, and given a lot of good info about the island. He also has published dondet.net web-page, which gives good info about the area and practicalities. We loved our stay here, and even prolonged it with few days.
