C’est une belle maison traditionnelle au cœur de Skala très joliment décorée et bien équipée.

This was a wonderful place to see the Cave of the Apocalypse, St.John Theologian Monastery, and surrounding Chora! Centrally located and within walking distance if you choose to! Cleaned, wonderful staff available to assist and close to shops and restaurants.

Lovely character room - refurbished with taste, quality and attention to detail. Small garden area outside for relaxing. Great location in the centre of town, very convenient for the ferry terminal and bus stop which are both a 2 mins walk away. Delightful host (Katerina I think) who was very helpful. Recommended.

The Wi-Fi reception was weak. The downside in being in the centre of town is that it can be quite noisy from the road traffic. It didn't bother us and the convenient location made up for this.

The bed was really comfortable, I loved the decor and the location was fantastic. It was nice to have a pod machine with decaf pods provided, it was very thoughtful.

It was difficult to find initially.

Couldn’t get along with the stone sinks and the bed could be more comfortable

We had a lovely, characterful studio in an old converted Greek building. Some of the features were genuinely old (eg stone sinks) and some were newer but were made to fit the theme (eg modern cooker in the corner where the cooking fire used to be). To get to the studio you have to go down some little unmarked roads full of cats - but do not be put off - you are only a couple of minutes walk to the supermarket (to the right), the port (straight ahead) and town centre (to the left). The best thing is the lovely private courtyard (it can be overlooked but the space is all yours). (Could do with better lighting.) We also really liked the attention to detail. The room had lots of crockery, cooking equipment and utensils, much much better than typical self catering. There is a panini toaster. There is a dishwasher. There are pegs for the clothes drier. Good towels and free toiletries. Water and juice in the fridge. Lovely bedding and big pillows. Mosquito nets over the windows. So many good things!

The shower over the tub presented some challenges. The sides of the tub are very high, so it was difficult for my small girlfriend to get in and out of safely. The tub is not an original feature, and it would be better to replace it with a walk-in shower. Note that there are no bath taps so you can't take a bath in it.
