10月9日大規模な台風があり、延泊することになってしまったがスタッフの方がとても優しく対応してくれた。最高です。

場所もまあまあ良い。建物も新しくて綺麗

A clean, modern and homely guesthouse on hachijojima. Really good local izakayas that were recommenced by reception. Nice fragrance in the entry and kitchen area which was well equipped. Room was fine with aircon and shower inside. Plenty of space and quiet in evening. Staff understood english well with assistance from google translate.

As a solo traveller without ability to phone or converse in japanese - I would have appreciated more assistance to hire a bike, arrange taxi, book restaurant etc. I think this is an essential part of service and despite asking for assistance i could not receive it. I also wasn't thrilled that I had to walk (short distance) to taxi company in pouring rain because there was no way to organise a pick up?! Aside from this i enjoyed my stay but it made things much harder or me. Make sure to have 1,000 Y to and from airport as accommodation do not pick up or drop off even though it's a 5 minute drive. This would be greatly appreciated as an improvement even if it is included in price 😀.
