The Apothecary Guest House

Very friendly host, comfy beds. Quite basic but the price reflects this. Great cooked breakfast and great location.

The area in front of the property was very small and tight. Not suitable for elderly or disabled as no ground floor rooms.

Hotel is at the top of Main Street right across from the church, tucked into a little offshoot of the street. (I missed it at first--but I'd been traveling for more than 24 hours so I wasn't at my sharpest.) Hotel is literally at the foot of Bronte Parsonage and the churchyard graves--the most magical part of Haworth in my opinion. It's also an easy access point for the moors. On my second day, I cut across the cemetery walkway and headed for the moors--all starting right from my hotel door. Perfect. The owners are lovely people and very accommodating. On my last morning there, a sort of spontaneous conversation broke out among fellow travelers in the small breakfast room, which was welcomed and fun. Bed is indeed comfy.

It's an old building, and while very clean, you'll definitely hear people walking about--and the doors are loud as people mentioned. But it really wasn't a problem for me. People were polite about it while I was there. At night, I just popped in my AirPods as a precaution, turned on some white noise, and slept great. In exchange, I woke up to a great view of the city outside my window.
