The host Paula was an ambassador for Coimbra. The chef for the breakfast was amazing. It was the best breakfast we had in many amazing guest houses over a 4 week stay in Portugal.

The guest house was on a very busy street but Paula met us and signaled us where to park. It was a bit of a walk to the University but worth it for such a nice guesthouse.

Greeted by our host Paula, she couldn't have been more welcoming and shared her knowledgeable of Coimbra with us. Everywhere is decorated to a very high standard, very happy with our room. In the morning we had Louis looking after us. He had prepared a wonderful breakfast and made sure we wanted for nothing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be returning.

Absolutely nothing. This guest house is of a very standard and there is nothing that you could fault. Both Paula and Louis should be very proud of themselves. Highly recommend.

Luis en Paula zijn enorm gastvrij. Paula geeft goede tips en weet veel te vertellen over Combrai. Luis verzorgt een fantastisch ontbijt en zorgt werkelijk dat je niets te kort komt. En Paula, wat heb je het fantastisch ingericht!

Niets, behalve misschien dat de weg terug vanuit de stad licht omhoog loopt en de weg best druk is (er is wel een stoep).

What a lovely place, everything was perfect from the communication, the warm welcome, the interior decoration and above all the amazing breakfast. It's a 15' walk to the historic center or a short Uber ride. Highly recommended!

Es war alles wirklich mehr als zufriedenstellend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden wieder hier Aufenthalt machen. Die Gastgeber waren herzlich, liebenswürdig. Das Frühstück ein Traum.

What a beautiful place! It had a nice little outside area to sit and relax and breakfast was plentiful. The hostess and owner was very informative about sights to see and things to do.

There were some festivities that night in town that disrupted our sleep, but that was just bad timing on our part. It also is a bit of a walk to get to the towns center, but is definitely was manageable.
