Karklės Villa - Prie Jūros

location is close to the sea, the parking is nice, there’s a nice green area around the house.

We did not receive any check in information or room number prior to arrival. When we called the property upon arrival, the response was unwelcoming it felt like we were an inconvenience. They simply gave us the door code and room number, which could have easily been communicated in advance. The room and bathroom had visible mold. Instead of a proper bath mat, we were given a thin hand towel to soak up the water that spilled from the shower. The shared kitchen includes a dishwasher, but no detergent or was provided (so if you want to use the dishwasher - be sure to bring your own supplies). Over the course of a week long stay, we were given just one roll of toilet paper. We also underestimated the reviews mentioning the smelly and dirty water - unfortunately, they were accurate. The water smells terrible, making it unpleasant to shower, cook, or even wash dishes. Everything smells like metal and rotten eggs. This just made the whole vacation unpleasant, as it was not nice to come “home” after a day for a rest. While the price is similar to other accommodations in the area, we’ve stayed at comparable properties that provide filtered water, private kitchens, and basic supplies like dishwasher or laundry detergent. This property did not meet those standards.

Puiki vieta, netoli iki jūros. Du kambariai dalinasi po vieną šaldytuvą, tad kaip bendrai virtuvei, visai nemažai vietos.

Švara labai vidutiniška, vonios kambarys pasirodė paviršutiniškai pravalytas. Vanduo labai geležingas ir nemalonaus kvapo, visur dėmės likusios nuo jo, čiaupas nenuvalytomis kalkėmis, o dušo žarna kiaura, tai pusė vandens visur purškiamas. Tiek duše, tiek kambaryje pilna voratinklių ir labai trūksta kilimėlio prie durų, nes smėlis išsinešioja po kambarį. Šaldytuvai irgi švara nespindėjo, visus indus norisi išsiplauti prieš naudojant, bet visiems kambariams skirta viena, gyvenimo mačiusi ir visada kriauklėje numesta kempinė.

Wonderful location, big space, nicely equipped big kitchen, everything was clean. Very nice landlady.

Thick walls, can hear every step. Waking up at 7:30am because neighbors.

Fast walk to the sea, fast check-in by the phone. Room was clean. Big garden for kids to play.

Nice location, if you want to get away from masses of peoples and noice of city. There is parking for you car. Territory is behind gates. Fresh drinking water available, which is nice, because water from taps has metal taste. Each room has it own part of fridge for fresh food. Washing machine available. Cosy picknick tables outside, if you wish to spend your time there.

Not much to do around except going to beach or seeing "Dutch hat" beach. You should have some kind of transportation available- car or bicycle to reach Palanga or Klaipėda. Not sure about public transportation. Nice investment but lack of regular maintenance of facilities and equipment- clogged drains and faucets sprinkling to all sides. Adding foot mats at the door would help leaving sand outside room.
