SilkRoad Guesthouse

I really enjoyed my stay at this Guesthouse. The staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a warm, homely feel. I also appreciated the quiet location, yet still close enough to reach the city center easily.

There wasn’t anything major I disliked.

The breakfast was delicious and filling. I really missed it once I left. Everyone was as helpful as they could be. I lost my phone on my 2nd day in Bishkek, and the owner personally drove me to the last location and helped follow up, and I got it back the next morning thanks to her. She was kind enough to arrange an emergency exchange at a fair rate that a local bank gives. The room was comfy, and the water pressure on the bathroom was good and hot. The best part was the dining area and experience. Made a few friends.

I feel that because I was traveling alone, the prices I was being quoted for tours or transfers when I requested assistance were incredibly inflated and felt a bit pushy. It was my first solo, and my second day definitely left a bad impression. While I was incredibly grateful for all the assistance, I felt a bit taken advantage of.

Очень крутое и интересное место. Завтраки такие, что мы до вечера не хотели есть! И каша и оладушки и гигантские сэндвичи. Рекомендуем остановиться тут во время посещения Бишкека.

We had a great stay at the SilkRoad Guesthouse. The staff was really helpful and everything was excellently designed. You get free coffee, tea, water & cookies the whole day. Also the breakfast was fantastic.

It did not bother us too much, but somehow it was kinda smelly, not too bad but still noticeable.

Не первый раз останавливаемся в этом гостевом доме. Все отлично. Везде чисто, аккуратно, приветливые сотрудники. В номере просторно , хороший напор горячей воды. На первом этаже в любое время можно выпить чай/кофе. Завтраки всегда вкусные и сытные.

Umka was very helpful to us.

Nicely decorated, hot shower, varied breakfast, free tea coffee and water. Allowed us to check in early and even gave us some breakfast while waiting - so so nice!
