Dalom Guesthouse

Great location, only a few minutes walk from the ferry port and close to main restaurants/bars. Bungalow was peaceful and quiet, and fan worked well with mosquito net available. Bikes available to hire for 25k kip.

Gaps in the walls and flooring so expect bugs, there were ants in the bathroom. Mosquito net had some holes in it.

In the central area of Don Det, close to many restaurants and shops.

Not well soundproofed.

Good location next to restaurants, shops and bike hire. Room I was moved in to was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

I initially booked one of the bungalows but it was way too hot even with the fan on (for me) and claustrophobic. The construction is incredibly rustic shall we say and the bed was super springy. I asked to move to a room with air conditioning which was well worth the money for extra space and comfort. Unfortunately there were some cockroaches and bugs in the room.

Basic room with mosquito net, the shower sprayed everywhere a bit and there were a few ants. However, the location was perfect right near the pier and easy accessible to walk around either side of the island as well as near lots of shops and restaurants. I loved the balcony with the hammock and spent many relaxing hours on here as it was so peaceful! I definitely recommend this lovely place!
