The bed is not comfortable.

WiFi was very slow. Entrance is maybe a little hard to find, but the staff was very helpful in texting and also coming outside to find me. No real major downsides for me

Upon arrival the staff didn’t check our names or any conformation we were the correct people staying and said they don’t check booking.com so anyone could have been staying there. When we got to the room there was a ripped apart bug on my bed. Then at night time the gates were locked with no access out without waking up the staff AND no mention of it being locked at all. Being locked is fine but we should have access to come and go as we please. Then upon leaving we were over charged for the scooter (2 days rather than 1). Also no mention we had to pay in cash, as we said we would get cash the lady owner was trying to hold one of us hostage and started slamming the gate into my friend making her get the money. We persuaded them to leave our passport, went and got the money then i went back alone as my friend had been physically assaulted with the gate and the man owner was there and proceeded to shout at me saying things like ‘F england’ squaring up to me, pointing and shouting in my face, he threw my money on the floor. I recorded the whole thing. I was very very scared being alone in vietnam with someone using such threatening behaviour. Complaint has also not been acknowledged. Very disappointed with this homestay we have never experienced anything like it and both of us left the property shaking and crying at separate times.

Very spacious, clean, bright and comfortable room in a quiet neighborhood! We really wanted to stay longer but unfortunately they were fully booked! And I can see why - a cheap price for what you get! The owners are lovely - they gave us some fruit for free one day, did us a good deal on a scooter and gave us fresh towels after 2 days! The kettle we had was broken so they gave us a new one straight away no problems! Really enjoyed our time here!!

The only thing I can think of is it would have been helpful to have some hand soap provided to wash our hands! That's it - everything else was spot on 👍🏼
