Excellent location for Aryavedic treatment and short stay. Excellent morning breakfast both South Indian and can do Omelettes and eggs separately with toasted bread, butter and marmalade..... The Manager and all the staff are very friendly and helpful and in-house menu is good, but could do with fish items on the menu. Plus good value for money.

The location of this place is on top of a hill and you would need a rickshaw or a taxi to take you down to beach, where there are loads of restaurants and shop. Coming back up the steep hill is an issue for OAP, Get a taxi or a rickshaw to take you back to Villa;

Food and staff

We are very satisfied with our stay at Ayur Villa. The breakfast was excellent – the food was very delicious. The room was spacious with a huge bathroom. It would be great if there were more greenery in the bathroom, as it would make it even more appealing. The bed was very large and comfortable.

The only downside is that getting to the beach requires a fairly long walk, and coming back in the evening is not very pleasant because the shorter route has no lighting, and you have to walk uphill, which makes it more challenging. Of course, you can always take a riksha.

Ayur Villa took GST amount 18 percent but DID NOT give any bill. Sent reminder also but they didn't respond. It's clear cheating the guest and the government.

If you're looking for a hotel experience that combines disappointment, false advertising, and a touch of amateur comedy, this is the place for you. I had the privilege of booking three rooms at this establishment, which turned out to be not a hotel but a glorified house masquerading as one, and I paid for it at rates that rival legitimate hotels in Trivandrum. Spoiler alert: I checked out early, because even my patience has its limits. Let’s start with the “family suite” – an innovative concept where two underwhelming bedrooms are connected by a shared toilet. Not just any toilet, but one meant for four frail elderly adults. And since it’s a house, my 70-year-old parents got to enjoy the cardio workout of climbing stairs because, of course, there’s no elevator. The amenities were a revelation: no TV in the rooms, no minibar, no tea or coffee unless you ask nicely, and no views—unless you enjoy staring at bushes and someone else’s dirty backyard. The highlight? Our luxurious bathroom featured two snail guests during the shower—because nothing screams “premium service” like in-house pest entertainment. Speaking of which, the pool, which was closer to an oversized fish tank, was also a testament to their dedication to hygiene. For a property that claims sea views and beach proximity, let me assure you: the only way you’ll get a sea view is if you squint and imagine one. The beach is a steep trek away, so much so that the staff suggested taking a taxi. Romantic, no? But what truly takes the cake is the owner’s attitude. When I decided to cut my stay short (because I value my sanity), she shifted from defensive to outright rude. She even implied she’d charge my credit card for booking.com commissions. Classy. And the cherry on top? A handwritten bill for additional services and promises of WhatsApp invoices that never materialized.
