– The room itself (Cottage 3) was great: two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a shower + a large bath), a large fully-equipped kitchen including a fridge, microwave, oven and washing machine, and a spacious living area including two couches, a large desk, and a full-sized dining room table. – The backyard area was also great and included a large swimming pool and deck chairs, which is shared among the handful of cottages, but no one else was using the pool while we stayed there, so it felt like a private pool. The cottages also have outside tables and private barbecues. – There is daily housekeeping, if you desire. – There is parking, and the property is gated. – We chose this place because the location is around the corner from family. It's quiet and in nature. But if you're not from Joburg please note that there are no shops etc within walking distance, and you'll definitely need a car. – The staff were friendly. However, I do have a few points to bring up (see next section).

– Nowhere on the booking websites does it mention that this property is on a marijuana farm. I don't know whether the plants themselves give off a smell, or whether it's the people (staff) in the property smoking (probably the latter), but the air smells of weed most of the time. If the smell bothers you, you probably want to stay somewhere else. I also believe that prospective guests deserve a heads-up. – We were not warned that the adjoining cottage was undergoing renovations during the time of our stay. One day when the noise was still going on after 5pm, I called reception, and was informed that they're only meant to work until 4pm. The person answering reception said they will "give them a call." The next day I was trying to nap (jetlag) but couldn't sleep because of the noise, which was again going on after 4pm. I think we called a total of three times about the (out-of-hour) noise. I don't want to sound like a diva, but we did pay decent money to stay in a quiet suburb, and was not forewarned of the construction (for hotels in general, I think guests should be informed). We considered asking to move rooms (and they may have allowed it if there was space available), but we wanted to stay in the two bed / two bath. – When I booked our stay, I mentioned that we're vegan and they confirmed they do cater for vegans. However, on the first morning they seemed quite frazzled, and called to ask if we eat meat, because "some vegans eat meat"... They did end up bringing us fruit, followed by a vegetable medley, which was alright. But we opted to have breakfast elsewhere for the remainder of our stay.

The chef was amazing, her name is salome. The staff was also good. Oh this place is so clean and fresh. I am planning on going back with my family.

I really likes my small apartment the plc was very big enough for my kids and the breakfast the pool was clean nd my kids enjoyed them self in the water
