Abbey GH All Rooms En-Suite

I stayed in room 4, a lovely deluxe double on the top floor. Some steep stairs to be aware of but the room and en suite are lovely. A small fridge was very handy as well as a good selection of teas and coffees in the room. The guest house itself is close to the seafront, a few minutes walk from bus stops and on street parking available.

Because he has a disability he found the bathroom a bit small with not a lot to help him get up like a handle bar

Always friendly and well kept have been going now for 9 years and still going !

Everything was fabulous and clean, close to town centre.

Steve was very friendly and welcoming. Nice room, comfy bed and the fresh milk in the fridge was a nice touch.

Very comfortable beds with good quality duvet and bed linens - smell lovely and fresh too! Everything in the room feels like good quality, (not cheap, basic furnishings like some places I’ve stayed in). The curtains and blinds to make the room cosy and dark. Little extras like complimentary bottles of water in the fridge, decent tea and coffee, toiletries in the bathroom (including face wipes, cotton wool, body lotion etc.)

Shower head was quite heavy so didn't stay in position. Constantly having to adjust to direct the water.

Lovely twin room, clean and cosy with everything we would need! Lots of extra little touches like toiletries in the bathroom and nice tea/coffee facilities (milk and water in the fridge). Steve and his wife are lovely (small hiccup in the beginning but rectified very quickly and most welcoming!)
