A Casa Sousa

An Italian restaurant is just below the apartment, and a small grocery store is in the adjacent building.

It is at the main road and the main square of the village. Cars passing the apartment makes it rather noisy. Furthermore on the last night of our stay there was a big event on the main square and it was so loud that we could not sleep at all until the celebration ended at around 02.00 AM.

Nice and clean, good anount of space and shared kitchen was helpful. Staff was lovely :)

Showers were a bit small

Communication was easy and efficient, overall the facilities were really nice and everything was clean. The room had some local snacks and water there, was a very nice touch

Dehumidifiers would perhaps be good in the room, due to the high amount of rain, the air in the room and the whole building felt so humid, but this shouldn't be an issue when visiting outside of the main rain season

Location was good and there was a big supermarket and couple of restaurants close.

It would have been better if there was breakfast, better coffee machine and everyday cleaning.

Comfortable, very nice to have had my own private bathroom. Also, having the washing machine there to use was really great as well. Nice kitchen. I was the only one guest at the time of my stay and it felt like I was just living in my own apartment.

Maybe the only thing to note is that there is a church right across, and the bell goes off every hour in the day/evening hours. Not great for naps, but a minor inconvenience.
