Thanh Ha Guesthouse

Ms. Ha is very helpful. Everything was as it should be.

Very nice homestay: well positioned, nice room with air conditioning. Host was flexible for the check-in and helpful in booking a bus for me, and I also did an amazing tour of the floating markets and noodles factory with her.

Also quite anxious host. She knocked at my door shortly before the tour start for checking and asking me why I moved a clothes rack in front of a buddhist altar on the balcony (I honestly only saw a tea pot and cups. Anyway: how did she find out?). It might be understandable from a religious point of view, but I still found it inappropriate and unnecessary, because I booked only one night which had already passed by at that point. She was also quite resisting in giving me touristic information that wouldn't have brought benefits (e.g. tours, bus trips) to her, her friends, her brother, etc. I found it quite annoying.

Excellent guesthouse, right in the buzzing centre of Can Tho. But the biggest plus is Ms. Ha herself who is like a mother to all her guests. She organises excellent excursion to the floating markets (of course) but also to all kinds of places in the wider area, where everybody seems to know her and while really giving an inside look in the local societies. Highly recommended!

For the money, it was good, clean and location also very easy for everything we wanted to see/do whilst in Can Tho.

The bed was extremely hard. We stayed two nights, and that was enough.

Ms. Ha was amazing. We had an amazing experience booking the morning tour with her. She knows the locals so we did many activities that other tours don't provide. Truly a once in a lifetime experience! She also helped us catch the bus to our next destination. Overall, Excellent host.

The street where the homestay is located was quite noisy.

From the very first minute, you feel right at home here. Ms. Ha and her niece take great care of their guests and are always happy to help with anything. Ms. Ga’s tours are absolutely amazing—I can only recommend everyone to experience at least one of them. We spent an entire day with her and gained many fascinating insights. A huge thank you for the wonderful stay!

Staying at Miss Ha guesthouse was an incredibly memorable experience. She is a wonderful host and tour guide! This lady has so much energy and industry you’ll be amazed! Bossy and kind :) She will take you on very special tours around Mekong Delta that you won’t be able to do with any other tours! She knows everyone in the area, she’ll bring you to locals workshops, make you meet them, chat with them, explain you everything about the area and take care of giving you food along the way. She is like an aunt that you go and visit and have a good time with! She arranges 2 tours. I joined both and can recommend both of them! Price is good I think for the kind of experience she offers. One is in the afternoon (usually starts at 1:30) where you go and experience a few workshops of Mangrovia wood and kind of bamboo baskets, then take you through an amazing boat ride in the middle of the forest and make a stop at a rice field. The other one is in the early morning to visit the Cay Rang markets, another market on land and all the different rice noodles workshops. You’ll move by boat the whole morning (which felt like a day actually ahha as it starts at 5:30 am and finishes at 11). Long story short, if you stay at her place, you gotta do both tours with her!

Nothing really, just the roosters that start singing to early in the morning :P but that’s very typical in Vietnam!

Ms Ha is the best, she’s always ready to help and her tours are just amazing! The place is clean and the location is great!
