Thanh Ha Guesthouse

The accommodation was great value, the room which was no frills provided everything we needed including warm water, air con, a nice, firm bed and a pillow filled with cotton (kapok) from local trees (seriously!) I slept like a baby! Ms Ha was an exceptional host, a non nonsense, yet a fun and big hearted powerhouse of a woman with unbelievable energy and dedication to serving her guests. In the short time we stayed at the guesthouse (a day and a half) we attended both her tours, both 6 hours long and led by Ms Ha herself - we just had time for one and a half hour's sleep in-between the tours! She charges a fair price for the tours, which may initially appear pricey given the low price of the room but, as others have said, Ms Ha's tours are fascinating and unique with no other tourists around and she provides a continuous supply of local fruit, snacks and drinks and info so, in my view, it is well worth the cost. She went out of her way to find me gluten-free food due to my coeliac disease. We reported a leaky tap in the bathroom which was repaired within a couple of hours. On our check-out day Ms Ha had arranged a taxi for our very early departure to catch a ferry to Con Dao and she was up before us, 4.00 a.m., to instruct the driver, give us our takeaway breakfast and check us out. She was also preparing for her next 5.00 a.m. floating market tour... Total respect for this amazing, super- organised and totally lovely woman ✊

We spent incredible 2 days with Ms. Ha in Can Tho and the Mekong Delta. In 1 1/2 days we did three tours in total (floating market, fish farm, mangrove forest and a lot of traditional factories). It was an unforgettable experience and we didnt have to worry about anything. During the tour everything (food, drinks) is included. We were able to see so many nice places besides the touristic spots. The accommodation is really clean and has everything you need. We highly recommend the tours with Ms. Ha

Abbiamo vissuto un'esperienza indimenticabile grazie a Ms. Ha, che è stata semplicemente fenomenale! Ci ha accompagnato alla scoperta del Delta del Mekong facendoci conoscere mercati autentici, attività locali e angoli fuori dai circuiti turistici tradizionali. Con grande attenzione e dedizione, ci ha guidato attraverso una vera immersione nella cultura locale, facendoci assaggiare tantissimi piatti tipici (gnam gnam... come dice sempre lei!). Io ho viaggiato con mio marito e nostra figlia Nina di 7 anni, e Ms. Ha è stata davvero dolcissima con lei: l'ha coinvolta in mille esperienze entusiasmanti che Nina ricorda ancora con gioia. Durante il resto del nostro viaggio l’abbiamo nominata spesso, ci è davvero mancata! La struttura in sé è semplice, ma molto pulita e in una zona centrale, perfetta per muoversi comodamente. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca autenticità, calore umano e un tocco speciale nel proprio viaggio!

À choisir sans hésiter pour les excursions de Madame Ha! Elle vous prépare comme personne des balades pour découvrir la vie du delta du Mékong et elle est toujours aux petits soins pour vous!

Bei Ha hat es sich angefühlt, als würde ich daheim ankommen. Sie war in der Zeit wie eine gute Freundin und hat mich mit auf Ihre Tour mitgenommen. Es hat unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht ihr Gast zu sein. Wenn ich noch einmal in Can Tao sein sollte, werde ich wieder kommen! Ein Aufenthalt bei ihr ist definitiv eine Empfehlung von Herzen.

Ms Ha ist eine super herzliche Frau und wir haben uns total umsorgt gefühlt. Das Zimmer ist sehr einfach ausgestattet aber hat alles was es braucht. Zusätzlich wurden wir mit frischem Obst begrüßt und morgens gab es den besten Kaffee, den wir bisher in Vietnam hatten. Wir haben außerdem die Floating Market Tour gemacht, welche absolut empfehlenswert ist! Die Preise erscheinen zunächst etwas teurer im vergleich zu anderen Touren aber der Preis ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Bei der Tour ist man abseits vom Touristenstrom, man darf sich durch allerlei Leckereien durchprobieren und darf verschiedene Arten der Nudelherstellung ausprobieren.
