This is a wonderful stop-over for me when I travel from Cape Town to Pietermaritzburg. Dave is a warm and excellent host. It is such a pleasure to check in and settle down, before walking to the bar and restaurant to enjoy a quiet evening and good conversation. I can highly recommend the pizzas! Secure off-street parking for vehicles is appreciated.

Be aware of children and young teenagers approaching from the road and asking for money. This seems to be becoming more prevalent over time.

Easy to get to. Friendly people. Big room. Good security. My bike was parked in safe area. Pub right accross the street. no need to drive anywhere. Food was delicious at the pub. Loved to visit with locals and guests.
