A nice apartment with a spectacular view on Machico. The apartment has everything you need for a stay, a nice and comfy bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a small bathroom. There's also an additional sofa in the hall, that can accommodate an additional person. The very nice thing is that there's a cot bed in the bedroom. We have been in contact with the property owners for the check-in, and the check-out instructions were very clear.

Everything was great! Just keep in mind, it is better to reach the apartment by car, as it is a bit of a long walk from the city. But there's a free parking on the territory.

Équipement à la fois complet mais à la fois assez ancien. Quelques petites choses à réinvestir je pense, mais je le répète tout est fonctionnel.

Spacious apartment, but very sparsely furnished. Great views, but remember that comes at a price: you'll need a rental car for sure, however, you would need to be a very confident / competent driver to cope with the steep gradients and narrow passages and uphill starts etc. Driving in Madeira (including to this property) is not for the faint hearted!

It's more an apartment rental than a holiday room. The landlord has no English, and was largely absent, which can be a little tricky at times. A place for the self-sufficient for sure. It's a great location for the views, because it's high up, but that means that you will need to drive out for everything, nothing is remotely walking distance. Not really much in line of shops, tourist friendly bars or restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Being so high on a steep hill means great views, but also that the busy roads and highways are just below you. So be prepared for a lot of traffic noise, and animals like barking dogs and crowing cocks.

super wenn man selber kochen möchte, es gern ein wenig ruhiger möchte und vor allem der Hitze entfliehen möchte. Ein Mietauto haben ist aber auf jeden Fall wichtig!

Excellent self catering accomodation on a superb location with outstanding views. Well equipped, clean, good bed. Late check-in worked fine! Friendly contact.

The access to the parking spot in front of the apartment is a little bit of an adventure for an unexperienced driver, narrow and steep. But I guess if you dare driving on Madeiran mountain roads than you don't need to worry too much. The gate needs to be opened by an electronic telecommand which unfortunately worked very unreliably, sometimes it refused to open for minutes which was very stressful.
