BAITA MAORE luxury rooms & Spa

Warm and welcoming reception by the family running the place. You feel at home with your own family. The place is well designed the scenery is beautiful and full of tranquility. What you see in the pictures is less than what you get. The home cooked food is beyond delcious. The town and place orientation you get from the family is well rounded.

The property itself is very pretty and beautiful. It looks more like a Nordic Villa rather than a Sardinian House. La proprietà e’ molto bella, pulita e accogliente. Sembra più una casa Nordica che Sarda ma e’ ben curata

As I said the property is great and the staff very nice and friendly but the price is too high for the level of service provided. If you write the word luxury and you charge like a 5 stars hotel you need to make sure the level of service and quality is at the same level. Small details like not soup in the bathroom, the fridge bar with one bottle of beer left by the previous occupants, no water in the Spa are very important. The dinner was nice but extremely simply and nothing special. I was also expecting more about sardinia. Breakfast was great but again, it is more like an Agriturismo rather than a luxury Hotel.

Baita Maore is an enchanting gem located in the middle of the island. It's like the best B&B/agro-tourism/rustic inn place ever. The facilities appear modest at first, but the attention to detail and elegance of the 'cabin' is truly beautiful. The place is spotless and the spa and pool very nice. What stands out most is the kindness and hospitality that the staff shower you with, everyone will bend over backward to please you, feed you amazing food, and comfort you. When you feel road weary, this is truly a unique travel experience, and one I hope to repeat. The ebikes are really fun, too! Grazie to everyone, our new friends, for making our stay so special!

rooms are very nice, but adding lots of hooks would really make a difference for hanging clothes and storing gear and making the room really work.

Great location near the lovely village of Laconi. Good selection of local wines in the main lodge.

1. The management had not yet transitioned from the winter season to summer season 2. There was no dinner option though the receptionist let us have ham/cheese. 3. Lots of flies inside and outside of room so door couldn't be left open. 4. A/C was not working which given the flies was a problem 5. The spa was a small indoor jacuzzi that didn't heat the water. Also had a indoor dry sauna. 6. Outdoor pool was large but enclosed in glass so very muggy and not a great place to lounge. 7. This resort is better suited for fall and winter seasons, not ideal for summer. 8. Very expensive given the modest breakfast and lack of amenities.

the rooms are a bit small but very comfortable, very nicely decorated. the staff is very nice and helpful. the setting of the property is also very nice with a nice pool which is warmed during winter. breakfast was wonderful

the chef was sick so there was no option for diner. we ate at a local small cafeteria in the nearby town which was a bit disappointing. it is also a bit overpriced
