The location was good.

THEY DO NOT TELL YOU THAT THIS IS A BANO SECO- AN ECO TOILET. It does not flush and you have to put wood chips on it. THEY DO NOT MENTION THIS ANYWHERE ON THE WEBSITE. I think that this is false advertising and extremely deceptive. That should be clearly stated on the page, and it's not. Also, they told me that I had to pay 200 pesos per dog, (i have two small Chihuahuas -- 2 kg and 1.5 kg) even though on Booking says that there is no extra charge for dogs. I didn't pay it obviously and I'm reporting this to Booking as they are trying to charge you for something they claim is included.

The views were so/so

Room smelled of sewage. Stifling hot. If you want fresh air, screen flaps only held together by magnets so very scary for a woman traveling alone. Walking up so many steps, high stairs with a suitcase nearly impossible. Complained. Left the next day and couldn’t even get a partial refund.

Hearing the waves at night was just wonderful. The views from the place are amazing. I loved being in nature. And such lovely staff.

I needed to have my mosquito spray at the ready always.

Very chill

The great location, the incredible view, the environmentally conscious amenities, the comfortable bed, the sweet table, the lovely hammock, the helpful fan! Todo bien!

The mosquitoes were very active and that limited the time I could spend in the open air room (except where I could position the fan directly) and the town was noisy in the evenings. Both of these issues can easily be addressed with a friendly reminder to bring earphones and mosquito coils :)

Location

When we got there we hadn't gotten any instructions on how to get in, only to find out you have to climb a ton of stairs (There are no lights by the stairs so you really have to watch your step at night). When we got to the rooms we waited in the heat trying to contact staff to tell us which room we were staying in but they took over 30 minutes to reply. The room was clean but at night it was still so hot we didn't get any sleep. So we moved to a different accommodation the day after. These rooms are way too overpriced for what they're offering.

It was quiet, close to the beach and clean. They provide drinking water to refill bottles and the dry toilets are a good initiative. The fridge in the room was very helpful

The property was a trek up a hill and in May this was very difficult with the heat. The room had one small fan and not much ventilation so it got very hot and stuffy in the day and night .
