Tithira Guest House

This nice family hostel is located in the center of Mirissa, very close to restaurants and shops, but still in a quiet area. The family that owns it it's very nice and they were very helpful. The breakfast that was prepared for us was great. The rooms were big with AC or ventilator and beds with mosquito nets. There was not hot water, but it's so warm outside that we actually liked to have a fresh shower. Good value for money!

I enjoyed my stay very much. It was my 4th time visiting Mirissa, that's why I have a chance to compare different guesthouses. Tithira guesthouse is not new and fancy one, but it was clean and comfortable for a few days stay. Air conditioner, fan, hot water douche and king size bed - all the equipment of the room. WiFi connection is OK, but not for a IT working. Minus is that you have only one socket in the room in the middle of the wall, that's why it's impossible to charge your laptop or mobile phone, lying near you. You always have to manipulate with different length wires... Very kind and helpful family host, who helped me in some questions about the apartment and local infrastructure. They've also helped me to organize the back way transfer. Thanks a lot. Location is 5 minutes walk to the beach, surrounded by everything you need: small supermarket, a lot of local food restaurants, fruit shops, laundry etc. As a plus, guesthouse has its own public kitchen, where u can cook something simple and have a cup of tea or coffee. There's also a big public fridge, cause you will not have your own inside.

Wi fi connection was not stable and fast. There's no small fridge in the room. Only one socket in the room.

Nice family run guest house in a perfect location for exploring Mirissa.

The bathroom could have been cleaner.

Great location. Close to lots of good cafes and restaurants. Host family very pleasant and helpful.

Rooms would benefit from a couple of plastic cups and a squeezy mop for the wet room.

The family who run this are lovely and welcoming. Great location just away from the busyness of beachy Mirissa. Lovely garden (which also means mosquitoes) but well prepared rooms with mosquito nets!

There was a lot of mozquitos on the porch, which wasn't anyone's fault, but we got bit a lot. None in the room though.

This place is really great. It's really clean and we'll maintained, the location is central but quiet. It's family run and the family is very caring, attentive and supportive. Clean sheets, hot water, well working ac, comfortable beds and pillows. And extremely good value for money. There is no better place in Mirissa.
