DEDas Hotel ist ein einzigartiges Erlebnis. Die Familie rettet ihr eigenes Haus und andere im alten Misfah vor dem Verfall oder baut sie wieder auf, in dem sie darin ein Hotel betreibt. Man wohnt also wie vor 100 Jahren - nur deutlich komfortabler. Man hat einen sensationellen Blick vom Berg herab, sowohl vom Zimmer aus als auch vom Restaurant, wo wir ein geniales Büffetabendessen und -frühstück bekamen, alles omanische Gerichte. Man hätte noch viel länger bleiben sollen und einfach in die Landschaft gucken.
Der Preis erscheint zunächst sehr teuer, aber wenn man das Frühstück und das Abendessen dazu sieht, ist das absolut in Ordnung.
GBWe had a truly wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Abdullah was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the staff were all friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. The food was absolutely delicious, with a lovely authentic local flavour that made the experience even more special. We also really appreciated being shown the museum, it added a unique and personal touch to our stay
The location is quite remote, so having a car is helpful.

C'est correct pour passer une nuit mais honnêtement, l'hôtel de donne pas vraiment envie d'y rester plus longtemps. C'est l'exemple type où on est à la limite entre authenticité et vétusté. Personnel à peu trop "oppressant" lors des repas. Les équipements de la salle de bain était très vétustes.
OMThe location is very good. Views from the terraces very good.
The special needs of my old mother were ignored. At first they promised a room on the first floor. And they tried very hard to push us into the back extension of the hotel which very poor location and on tricky slope. They should be honest that in the main hotel the only rooms available were 3 flights to climb and left the decision to us. I will not trust them again.
OMThe hotel room was comfortable and clean. There was a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast and dinner were amazing in terms of quality and variety. Lots of healthy options and they also cater for vegan/vegetarians. The best part was our tour of the museum - Abdullah’s grandfather’s house with Abdullah (the owner) himself. Do not skip this!!
There were lots of steep stairs to get to the room. This was not an issue for us but it may be something worth considering for others.
CZAn extraordinary place in the middle of old Misfah. Very authentic and quaint. Large amounts of good food and coffee. It was also really interesting to learn the history of the place during the local museum tour guided by the owner. The vast efforts put by him and his team into preserving, restoring, and reviving the historical center are truly astonishing.
FRCe que j’ai le plus aimé c’est la gentillesse, l’hospitalité et le partage de la part de notre hôte. Il propose la visite du musée de son grand père et nous avons passé un moment magique
