Very friendly and helpful owners, the dad even took us to the bus terminal on our last day and showed us the right bus. The son took this property over from his dad in the beginning of 2023 and is doing a lot of renovation and has really nice plans for the guesthouse :) Some streetfood stands are nearby - try walking towards Negombo and you’ll find a couple of small ones with good food.

The beach is no swimming beach, keep that in mind! It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest restaurants.

Quiet, next to a beach though it’s not a swimming beach. Comfy beds & pillows. Owner has renovated the rooms, good value for the price. Common little kitchen (no fridge). 30 mins walk to the restaurants etc.

Very nice guesthouse by the beach. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable.

I am glad that I stayed for several nights. Negombo has a lot to offer. The room was a good size and the cooling shower was a blessing in the heat. You are 10 meters from the beach where you can watch the local fishermen at work. The Host cooked several different Sri Lankan breakfasts (western options also available) for me , each came with traditional Sri Lankan food and tea or coffee. The breakfasts were beautiful and the portions were Much Bigger than I expected. There are three dogs at the Guesthouse and they are Very friendly , especially Zorro , he would escort me down the street and growl at other dogs that came close to me. The Host took me into town on his motorbike to a very good money changer and made sure that I was given the best rate and then dropped me off at the Wednesday Market. The hosts Father took me to the local fish market in his Tuk Tuk and waited for me before taking me to the lagoon where I went on a boat trip (Very Nice). On departure he also took me to the local bus station and made sure I was on the correct bus. Overall a VERY pleasant stay with wonderful hosts. I will stay with them again before I leave Sri Lanka.

What's not to like ?

Staff were so accomodating and kind! I had a late arrival and they were gracious enough to make my check in very easy at 4am. The room was clean and spacious and the location is great. Good for if you come straight from the plane.

Great value for money property - good location near many places to eat. The hosts were so helpful, we were able to store our bags and even have a shower before our evening flight for no extra charge. Will stay again next time in Negombo.
